For the Thanksgiving holiday, Jesuit-Marquette Squires conducted their annual food drive and distributed the collected food to needy families across the New Orleans area.

Fr. Roy Edwards Circle of Carencro decided to help out the less fortunate in the community this season and with the help of "The Extra Mile" a local non-profit organization who helps families in need.We adopted a family, there was a single mother with 4 children, 2-boys and 2 girls in our area. We donated clothes and toys for the kids, It was a great evening for our boys and their siblings. It was a great learning experience for the squires to find out what the giving is all about.
I would like to give a special thanks to my Brother Knights and Guidry's Uniforms for donating a gift card to make this a wonderful Christmas for the family.

News Upload Instructions

You can use the News Upload Form to upload news from your circle to the state website.


Step 1: Personal Information
In Step 1 you should enter your name, email address, phone number and circle number. The Chief Counselor or Chief Squire should be the only people submitting news articles to the state website.



Step 2: Compose Article
In Step 2 you will enter information about the news article you are trying to submit. You will enter the Article Title, Who the article was posted by (usually the person filling out the for or the person who wrote the article) and the job title of that person i.e Chief Squire 2233 etc. You will type the date shown above the date box in the specified format. The article content box is for you to type or paste the article.



Step 3: Attachments
In Step 3 If you have an image, PDF or word file to go along with the article you can attach them to the form here.



Step 4: Choose a Category or Categories
In Step 4 you will choose what pages your article should be posted on.

You can choose more than one category.

Welcome Worthy State Officers, Squires, and Counselors. This page will provide information about the features on our website. The purpose of the site is to house important information, forms, thousands of photo slideshows, and news articles from each circle around the state. It is also a huge information tool that can be used for communication between Squires, Counselors and State Officers.


Some of the features on this website include:

News System:

The SQL Database driven news system allows for thousands of news articles to be stored on the website. This will allow squire circles across Louisiana to post their news to the state website to share it with other circles which will help strengthen communication through out the state.

News Upload Form:

The news upload form allows anyone to submit a news articles to the webmaster. The webmaster will then review the article and post it to the website news system using the state-of-the-art custom made website management system.



Website Management System:

The SQL Database driven news system allows for thousands of news articles to be posted to the website in real-time as well as management for the calendar and form database. This system is protected by a secure login.

Photo Gallery:
Our state of the art photo gallery allows for an unlimited amount of photos and videos to be posted to the website. The system automatically transforms all images uploaded into a slideshow with effects and the option of attaching a song.

This provides us with the power to display images and video from squires events all over the state.

Photo Drop Box:
The photo drop box allows anyone to upload multiple of photos to the webmaster at one time. Then the webmaster will review and post the slideshows.

Squire Connection (Coming Soon):

In a few months our website will have a wonderful addition. We will release the Squire Connection which will make it possible for the squires,state officers and counselors to post messages and communicate securely. It will house phone numbers and addresses that will password protected from the public and also protected by secure socket layer (SSL) certificate.
